Adult Choir
Our adult choir is open to adults of all ages with a common love of Jesus and worshiping Him. we rehearse every Wednesday night in the choir room from 7-8:30. We sing most Sundays at the 11am Cornerstone Worship Service and present 3-4 special programs each year around Christmas, Easter, Independence Day and the end of Summer.
Youth Choir
Our Youth choir is our newest choir, consisting of 6th-12th grade students. We want to sing music that engages the students and we want to lead worship on Sundays. Currently, we are working on music that we can present outside the walls of the church in hopes of bringing the love of Jesus into the community. This group is a wonderful opportunity for your teen to become involved and share their love of God with their peers, this church and our community!
Kid’s Choirs
We offer preschoolers and elementary aged children from 3- years to 5th grade the opportunity to have fun and learn how to praise Jesus through music.
Our preschool choirs meet Wednesday evening at 6pm. These 3-, 4-, and 5-year-old choirs are filled with fun activities that help guide them in worship. Each of them is led by committed and wonderful volunteers who have a special place in their hearts for these children and who strive to make sure they are engaged as they learn to sing of the love of Jesus.
Our 1-5th grade students meet each Sunday afternoon from 4:45-5:45 in the choir room. They not only learn to sing but are also devoting a portion of each rehearsal to learning to play the ukulele. The Children’s Choir will help lead Sunday worship occasionally, as well as presenting musicals in the Spring and at Christmas.
Joyful Sound
Joyful Sound is geared towards senior adults that meet from 10:30-11:45 each Thursday in rehearsals that are a mix of music, worship, fellowship and fun. They sing often for evening services and take at least 1 trip each year. We would LOVE to have you join them!
Band/Orchestra
We have 2 worship bands that lead worship each Sunday. Our Cornerstone band leads worship in the Cornerstone service in the Sanctuary each Sunday at 11:00. If you are interested in becoming a part of this group, please contact Natalie at musicsec@fbctifton.org. Our Connection band leads worship at both the 9:00 and 10:50 Connection services in the Ministry Center. If you are interested in this band please contact Christian at christianmusgrove@gmail.com.
We also have an orchestra that accompanies the choir and congregation in worship approximately 2 Sundays/month and often plays instrumental special music. If you have any interest in sharing your love of music in the orchestra please contact Natalie at musicsec@fbctifton.org for more information.
Handbells
Our handbells group meets each Thursday from 4-5pm. They accompany the choir and congregation as well as ringing for special music occasionally in the Sunday services. If you have any interest in more information, please contact Natalie at musicsec@fbctifton.org.
