Job Description:
The role of the Kids Ministry Associate is to assist the Kids Minister in planning, preparing, and leading programs and ministries that will help teach children to become followers of Jesus. Assist with all elements of the FBC Kids Ministry. Assist with general administrative ministry tasks, such as sending emails, making phone calls, preparing mail outs, etc.


  • Under the supervision of the Kids Minister, oversee the Preschool Ministry at FBC Tifton.
  • Implement biblical lessons for Toddler to Pre-K classes on Sunday morning & Toddler – Kindergarten classes on Wednesday night.
  • Recruit and coordinate Sunday Worship Care volunteers.
  • Coordinate paid-worker schedules.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with teachers and parents to recruit and enlist teachers, volunteers, and substitutes.
  • Coordinate VBS for age 3 & younger.
  • Greet, register, and direct members and guests at the preschool welcome desk on Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings, and during special events.
  • Enforce FBC security procedures.
  • Prepare weekly snacks for preschool rooms.
  • Attend to the cleanliness and organization of the Preschool Ministry area.
  • Assist with preparation for all Kids Ministry events.
  • Attend weekly meetings with the Kids Minister.
  • Provide Kids Minister with administrative support, such as making phone calls, sending emails, preparing mail outs, and other duties as assigned.
  • Design and create content for FBC Kids Facebook and Instagram at the direction of the Kids Minister.
  • Fill in for Kids Minister in the event of illness, vacation, etc.

  • Member or become a member of FBC.
  • Attend worship at least 2 Sundays a month.
  • Proven experience in administration.
  • Exhibits professionalism.
  • Ability to share the Gospel with a child.


  • 3+ years working with children age Kindergarten or below.
  • Associate degree or higher in the field of education.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
