first time visitor faq's
Where do I start?
If you are a visitor to First Baptist we encourage you to park in the large lot behind the main sanctuary. Guest parking is reserved there. Enter under the drive through entrance where greeters will be pleased to answer your questions about Sunday School (Bible Study) classes, nursery, and worship services. Bible study begins at 9:30am. If you are visiting for a worship service, someone will be in the foyer to greet you and answer any questions.
What is the difference in the worship services?
Our 8:30am service is led by a “praise team,” and the music consists primarily of worship songs and choruses. It is held in the chapel. The 11:00am service is a “blended” service with hymns, choruses, and anthems lead by the Sanctuary Choir and is held in the main auditorium. The pastor’s message is the same for both services. Our 7:00pm evening service is a blended service. Please feel free to attend the service where you feel the most comfortable.
How do I find people my own age?
The best place to get to know people your own age is through a Sunday School class. It is a time of fellowship and connecting to new friends as well as studying of God’s Word.

What about my young children?
On Sundays and Wednesdays we offer child care for children birth through three years. We have a paging system so that parents can feel comfortable knowing that they can be reached any time their child has a need.
I have older children as well, what about them?
There are graded classes for all ages on Sunday morning and evening. On Wednesday we have the largest children’s program in the area with choirs and mission groups for every age group. Your children will usually find someone they already know in any group they attend.
What if I wish to visit the Wednesday evening activities?
Visitors are always welcome! Dinner is served in the Family Life Center from 5:00pm to 6:00pm, and
is complimentary for first time visitors. There is a wide variety of participation opportunities, including Bible study, discipleship, choirs, youth worship, and mission study groups.
