singles Singles are an important part of First Baptist Church, and they are actively involved in church ministry. They enjoy participation in FAITH outreach, ushering, choir, praise band, leading children’s choirs, serving on committees, working in the media ministry, volunteering in the kitchen, to name a few.
Many Sunday School classes include singles in their membership; however, there are two classes specifically for single adults where Bible study and discipleship are emphasized as singles are encouraged to live their faith daily. Led by outstanding teachers, these groups meet at 9:30am on Sunday in the Sunday School Annex.
While Bible study, evangelism, and service are critical, fellowship among singles is important to building relationships. Planned fellowship activities such as bowling, volleyball, cookouts, dining out together, beach trips, seasonal parties occur regularly.
