The mission of our Children’s Ministry is to guide children to the forgiving love of Jesus Christ.  We embrace children just as Jesus did in Luke 18:16, “Let the little children come to me”. We have developed ministries based on God’s Word that meet the spiritual, social, emotional, and physical needs of children and their parents.  By providing a loving, secure, interactive, learning environment, we see that children are drawn to grow in Christ.

 

In order to develop a learning environment where children can grow in their walk with Christ, we provide trained teachers who provide a loving, clean, safe, and age-appropriate Bible-based learning environment.  Believing that spiritual development begins at birth, we strive to join parents in laying a spiritual foundation where a child can look back and never remember of a time when they did not know of the love of Jesus. 

 

The purpose of Children’s Sunday School, Mission Programs, Discipleship, Music, and all outreach ministries at First Baptist Church is to guide each child in an understanding of God and His plan for each child’s life.
